Once all businesses had been organised and agreed on, copy was written for all, keeping to a strict 50 characters per business. Tags were created to best cover businesses in the town, and then all businesses were visited personally for approval and feedback.
Introductory copy was written, along with competition copy, and the design and layout was agreed on.
A competition to win shopping vouchers by visiting the different areas in the passport and making a purchase has been run alongside distribution using a stamp system. Stamps were designed and made, with a different colour ink for each area of the town. These were then distributed to all businesses featured in the passport, as well as copies of the passport.
25,000 copies were distributed to businesses, and 50,000 to residents within a 30 minute drive of Shrewsbury.

The client briefed that they wanted a pub crawl map to be displayed in businesses around the town.
As a City ID map had already been created for use by the client throughout their literature, they wanted this to be the map used.
A concept was created to tie in with Darwin’s links to Shrewsbury, as well as to highlight the unique nature of the town held within the river loop. A “Pub Voyage” was created where visitors can choose their drinking stops around the island of Shrewsbury.
Each business in the area was chosen and asked to provide a USP. These were then edited and any absent copy was written. A key system was created to easily highlight what was available at each venue.
The maps have been printed on tear-off pads and are available in every featured establishment.

The client wanted to do something high impact over the half term break, on the closed section of Wyle Cop in Shrewsbury. The aim was to attract more people to the town and remind people that the area was still open, despite the ongoing road works.
The installation of six life-sized fiberglass animals including a bear, a gorilla, a lion, a zebra, a hippo and a baby elephant, transformed Wyle Cop into ‘Wild Cop’ for two weeks.
A vacant shop unit was transformed into a rainforest, with activity books to keep children entertained.
Banners, branded barriers, window stickers and A boards were also designed and produced.
To accompany the event, a comprehensive PR plan was put into place, and coverage was gained on national news, as well as an abundance of publications and websites. The response on social media was incredible, with #wildcop trending.

The gift guide was one of the most ambitious projects undertaken for this client and has been one of the most rewarding to date.
After the proposal for a gift guide was agreed with the client, over 183 businesses were approached personally for items to appear in the guide.
Flat lays with the items were photographed over three days, with the town divided into nine areas, with a flat lay for each.
To accompany the photography, information on where to eat, drink, stay and do was included for each area, with an introduction to the town and travel information included.
55,000 copies of the comprehensive and beautiful guide were printed and distributed, with fantastic feedback from independent and national retailers, many of whom sold out of their featured products.
